The Bar Council Charities for 2008 are:
- L'Arche Belfast
- Birmingham Childrens Hospital Liver Unit
In 2007 the General Council of the Bar of Northern Ireland raised £22,095.76 to be divided equally between the two nominated charities for that year, NDOLA Ecumenical Hospice Association and Out of Afrika.
In 2006 the General Council of the Bar of Northern Ireland raised £26,000 to be divided equally between the two nominated charities for that year, St Vincent de Paul and The Salvation Army.
The cheques were formally presented to the Charities in April 2007
